don't judge a book by its cover
Hey everyone, watching Chimamanda Adichie video about the danger of a single story really opened my eyes on why you shouldn't prejudge or value of something by its appearance. In today's society, especially living in New York City its a beautiful thing to know about all the different cultures that we live in. Just like the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" Knowledge is power people and lets just all live, learn and love.

I do agree with you Eddie when you say that a book can not be judged by its cover. I think the ignorance takes people to wrong directions. However, when people are educated and have knowledge, they do not judge things by their appearance.

ReplyDeleteI also have to disagree with Akram. I know PLENTY of college educated people that are very close minded and think because they have been educated in school that they know everything. I feel like theyre are many forms of education, not just going to school and learning what 2+2=.
